When ordering wine off a menu, I always look for something I haven't tried.  I look for the weirdest variety first, then unknown producers.  Thank you to all the adventurous sommeliers out there!

Coupled with my corporate resume, in 2004 my husband and I started making small-lot Italian-varietal wines.  Today we produce a couple thousand cases and manage a small winery and tasting room in San Luis Obispo.  We have now completed our 10th harvest, making varieties that include: Malvasia Bianca, Aglianico, Sagrantino, Montepulciano, Sangiovese and more.
